Space Inspired Milk Packaging
This passion project was a true labor of love, and I couldn’t be prouder of how it turned out! Inspired by the cosmic charm of Milky Way by Chocolate Milk, the design blends nostalgic whimsy with interstellar imagination. At the heart of it is a playful little cow being abducted by aliens, yes, really. As someone who unapologetically still loves milk (3% is my go-to!), this project felt extra personal. From sketch to final mockups, watching the concept evolve into a full visual identity felt like a small creative victory. It’s bold, fun, and a little unexpected just like the best design stories should be. I hope it brings a smile to your face, too.
Moodboard & Inspiration
This moodboard sets the tone for a playful and imaginative milk packaging concept that blends the charm of countryside nostalgia with the wonder of outer space. At the center of the vision is a whimsical narrative: a cow being abducted by aliens, bringing together fantasy and humor in a uniquely memorable way. The visual inspiration draws from retro sci-fi scenes, cosmic textures, and vintage album art, most notably the Milky Way cover by Chocolate Milk, which helped shape the project’s nostalgic, space-age aesthetic.
Classic milk cartons and images of cows in serene pastures provide a grounding familiarity, while the galaxy visuals add a dreamy, surreal dimension. The color palette reinforces this contrast, mixing warm chocolatey browns and milky whites with glowing galactic purples, radiant blues, and vibrant pinks. Together, these references guided the design toward a bold, character-driven packaging system that feels both timeless and playfully unexpected.
A Bold Twist on Classic Dairy Design
A space-age reimagination of your everyday milk carton, this concept transforms a nostalgic staple into a playful, intergalactic experience. Designed around the quirky narrative of a cow being abducted by aliens, each flavor uses bold colors, dripping milky forms, and retro sci-fi inspiration to stand out on shelf and spark curiosity. A love letter to both milk and creative freedom.
